David P. Scheffenacker, Jr. President of Preston Scheffenacker Properties,  a real estate investment and development company. Preston Scheffenacker develops market driven projects, totaling 25 million plus square feet of construction - valued at over $1 billion. The portfolio includes industrial,office,multi-family, retail and state of the art self-storage located in the heart of the Baltimore-Washington corridor.The company is also known for the quality assets, tenants including Coca-Cola, Northrup Grumman, Clorox, Coastal Sunbelt Produce, Proctor and Gamble Lindenmeyr Munroe and Federal Express.

David leads the company's team of design professionals and is responsible for providing the strategic day-to-day oversight in property development, investor relations and our financial institutional partners.

Maryland Public Television (MPT) has been a long standing philanthropic program sponsored Preston Scheffenacker Properties. Preston Scheffenacker and MPT work together to increase educational programing and work closely with our local schools to identify needs and fill the gap.

Preston Scheffenacker Properties has received several distinguishing awards including "Best Industrial Park" for Preston Gateway North, "Best Industrial Rehab" Gateway at Riverside, "Best Adaptive Reuse" Windsor Station and "Developer of the Year" by the Annapolis and Anne Arundel County Chamber of Commerce at the Hall of Fame Award ceremony.

David is a graduate of St. Paul’s School for Boys in Brooklandville, Maryland and received his Bachelors of Science degree from Roanoke College in Roanoke, Virginia.
